Three years after the Karma Raj Clinic, a new homeopathic clinic was established by H.H. Gyalwa Jampa at Gaden Maitri Vihar Monastery. It is the second clinic he set up on Swyambhu and its primary homeopathic physician is Dr. Pradhanang.

In the beginning, the young monks were sent to have stool tests at the pathology center. Most of the young monks were found to have parasites. The proper homeopathic medication brought good results for their relief. Others come for consultation of different diseases. In addition, many monks come seeking advice and suggestions regarding the treatment that they have at other medical centers. The clinic provides them knowledge and information regarding the causation and the importance of prevention/management to become healthier.

There are many lamas who come to examine their blood pressure though they do not have any health problems. The monks come for dressing their wounds and injury when it occurs as there are facilities for minor injuries and wounds at both monasteries.

The dentist, Dr. Arun Manandhar, a friend of Dr. Pradhanang was also invited to examine the dental situations of the monks of both monasteries. These clinics at both monasteries are playing a key role in promoting the healthy state of all the monks with the kind support of H. H. Buddha Maitreya. The proper foundation of health and hygiene has been found to be the most important foundation of any future dharma practice.
